After two years of online classes, face-to-face formal schooling will finally resume in the upcoming school year. That is why these days are especially important for school bus drivers and owners of vehicles that provide transport service to students.

As everyone gears up for the new school year in the upcoming weeks, BSB Junrose, the local distributor of Sankei 555 Steering and Suspension Parts, shares these useful tips for maintaining vehicle steering and suspension systems.

Frequent interaction with potholes and road bumps may eventually result in wheel misalignments and possible damage to suspension parts. Therefore, it is important to always drive more cautiously and slowly when negotiating these roads.

Many motorists, especially those who use manual transmission cars, are not fully mindful that they might already be resting their hand more on the gear lever. The control rod of the vehicle is directly connected to the gear stick. The weight of your arm could unduly force the selector forks of the car against the gears, causing wear. Make it a habit to drive with both hands on the wheel as often as possible.

The car must always be parked using the hand brake or emergency brake, not only when parking on hills or slopes. It provides a more stable hold and added safety when parking. Additionally, this practice helps in protecting the car's transmission and other parts.

Know the typical warning signs of potential steering and suspension issues. Does the steering wheel vibrate when you are driving? Are there noises produced when you turn the steering wheel? Does the car pull to one side when you are driving? Do you hear any banging, clunking, or squeaking noises coming from the engine? Is the steering wheel loose?

"Some driving habits and delays in regular vehicle maintenance procedures could bring about or worsen problems that could affect handling, steering, and suspension," BSB Junrose President Benjamin Bangayan Jr. stated. "You can protect your vehicle's steering and suspension by observing ideal driving habits. When there are inevitable issues caused by the usual wear and tear, among the most recommended steering and suspension parts in the market today come from the leader, Japan's Sankei Industry Co. Ltd."

Sankei 555 offers Rack and Pinion Steering Type, Front Suspension and Steering Linkage Type, and joints steering parts including tie rod end, rack end, arm shaft, idler arm, side rod, control arm, pitman arm, ball joint, stabilizer link, and cross rod.

"For decades now, Sankei 555 has successfully endured the toughest roads in the Philippines," Bangayan added. "It has proven its reliability and is still providing itself today. That's why the brand is the leading in the country, in terms of steering and suspension. You may not be aware but Sankei 555 could already be installed in your car, keeping you and your passengers safe all the time. Thus, it should be your top choice for parts replacements."
